City Bank is frequently harassing me

27/11/2009 by complaintsblog

I am a City Bank Credit card holder. I took this card in 2007and till Jan 2009, I was paying minimum amount to this bank. Now in Nov 2009 I planned to settle this card, so I called up the executive of city bank to discuss the plan of settlement.

At that time the executive told me that if I want to settle the card in one strock then i need to pay Rs 50000 but there is one more plan to settle the credit card in Rs 40000/- to pay the EMI for 12 months with 0% ROI. I agreed to the executive and done the procedure to settle it in 12 EMI’s. They asked me to give 12 cheques.

I did the same. For 2 -3 months the EMI’s are cleared from my account but after that they have not deposited the cheques for 4 months. I called up customer care stating my problems and suddenly they deposited all 5 cheques at a time into my account, which resulted 3 cheques to get bounced and afterwards my agreement for settlement got cancelled.

Now after 8 – 9 months they give me a call saying settle the credit card in Rs 40000/- and in 2 days of time. I don’t know what to do now. For their mistake I am suffering. I have no idea what to do now. I am thinking of filling consumer complaints for wrong information and for harassment. I think they need to be more careful from next time to protect customer protection rights.

Unsympathetic behaviour by Sony Ericsson executives

25/11/2009 by complaintsblog

Recently I purchased the mobile 760i Sony Ericson. Mean time the battery charging

Socket in the mobile was broken.I went to the customer care centre to fix the problem but they refused to change the charger and misbehaved with me. I am agonized by the service of the customer care executives. Is this the way they behave with their customers. I am now filling a consumer forum to complaint to complain against their rash behaviour. A company like Sony Ericsson should take proper care to satisfy their customer. Sony Ericsson is a brand in itself and this type of callous behaviour is not accepted from a brand like Sony Ericsson. This will only tarnish their image and put a bad name for the brand. So it is necessary that they take proper care to protect consumer protection rights. Consumer rights need to be safeguarded by the organization so that consumers do not feel cheated.

Customer Care Executives Misbehaved With Me

12/11/2009 by complaintsblog

I activated the gprs connection on my Idea connection. Earlier I was charged Re 1 for the connection, but now all of a sudden without my prior information they have deducted Rs 69 from my account. So, I called customer care to know about the whereabouts, but to my utter shock the customer care executives didn’t entertain my call properly and instead disconnected my call. I was quite annoyed. Is this the way how they behave with consumers. So in utter disgust I filed a consumer forum against Idea complaining against the irresponsible behaviour of the customer care people. Online Consumer Forum India is an easy and quick way to file your complaints. This is a way through which you can express your views in front of public and advise them on matters regarding consumer protection rights. To protect the customer protection rights we need to be first aware of our rights.

Vodaphone Should Implement Consumer Protection Rights

11/11/2009 by complaintsblog

I have been using vodafone connection for last 1 year and haven’t encountered any problems yet, until recently when without my knowledge vodafone deducted Rs 30 from my balance for call alerts which I never activated. I am not even aware of this service, why will I ever activate it. To clarify the matter I called up customer care service but I think they are inefficient in entertaining their customers. I didn’t get a valid reply from them. Now, I have filled a consumer forum complaining against the matter. My customer rights are not protected and I just hope that they understand the value of consumers. This is the responsibility of organization to safeguard consumer protection rights and I just want that they don’t shy away from their responsibility.

Misinformation by Airtel

06/11/2009 by complaintsblog

Few days ago I registered my phone with the Friendz scheme of Airtel Telecommunications. The scheme was good and it was giving good service. But when Airtel started the service the scheme daily rental of the balance was 50paise per day. But deductions are now increased to Re 1 per day. This way customer is misleaded. They are misinformed. A company like Airtel should take care of the customer protection rights. This is an immoral practice by the company. I want to bring the issue to the notice of the organization’s consumer complaints department about the immoral practice and expect that it will take proper care in the future. I have registered my complaint on the online consumer forum.
